Sarah Demonstrates How Cupping Works
Sarah Stowers, L.Ac. mission is to have acupuncture be understood as the side effect free, and highly potent firstline teatment for many health issues. Her goal is to educate people on safe, effective alternatives for treating pain and internal imbalance. Blending recent knowledge of western orthopedics with the ancient art of acupuncture, she has created a hybrid medicine that is creating profound healing in people everywhere.
Sarah has been an athlete her entire life. She played soccer at the College of Charleston and is now a member of the Charleston Hurricanes Women's Rugby Club. Sports injuries and orthopedics have been built into her knowledge base for decades. As a result, she has
placed a great deal of emphasis on treating musculoskeletal disease. She understands the frustrations associated with injury and works tirelessly to get people out of pain, and back in the game quickly.
She is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizing Acupuncture, Cupping, Chinese Herbology, as well as Lifestyle and Nutritional advice. She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Sarahgraduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO in 2008, and studied in Harbin, China at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Her passion for acupuncture came while doing volunteer work for a sage acupucnturist. Sarah received her first acupuncture treatment from this doctor. The treatment had such a profound effect on her sense of well being and balance, that she knew she wanted holistic medicine to be her life’s work.

My knee is back!
