Adhesive Capsulitis

Adhesive Capsulitis, otherwise known as Frozen Shoulder, is a condition in which the connective tissue of the glenohumeral joint of the shoulder becomes inflamed. The result is pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion of the shoulder from anywhere between 5 months to 3 years. This condition affects more women than men, and usually people over the age of 40, but is of unknown cause. Alternative therapies such as acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic can help speed up the recovery process.
